Planning Safari Planning Hunting is done throughout the year, but due to our climate we recommend between March and October with April to August being the best months. Temperatures range between 32F and 85F. We find most clients plan for too many trophies in too short a time span. Give yourself enough time to be selective and "bag that big one".
